I hate to be one of those dumb girls that ask "Am I pregnant?", but I'm hoping to hear from your ladies if you have been in the same situation and whether you were pregnant or not.
Before you say, "Go to the Doc", I have an appointment for Friday (earliest available).
Okay, I'm 23 and I have a cycle that is between 28 and 31 days. I'm at 36 days since my last period now, which makes me at least 5 days late. HPT came back negative (okay, okay 4 HPT came back negative. One for each day that I was late). Now today, I have a lot of odorless white and clear discharge that i've never had before.
I'm not trying to concieve right now and this is my first pregnancy scare. Half of me thinks that it's just stress that is making me late, but the other half feels like something is way off.
Thank you in advance for answering...

Many times stress will cause your period to come "late" (happened all the time in college to me!). Also it is very common for cycles to be a few days off every so often.
The most sensitive hpt will measure hCG levels as low as 10-15 mIU / mL. In a normal pregnancy hCG levels will double approx. every two days or so, so I would recommend retesting in two days. There is a possibility that the zygote would have implanted late in your cycle causing your hCG levels to be lower than normal on the first day of your missed period. It is also important to remember that contrary to "text book" ovulation, not everyone ovulates on day 14 of a 28 day cycle. So, if you ovulated late or implantation is late, there is a possibility your hCG levels are just still too low to detect. The only way to find out if you are pregnant for sure will be to wait it out and see what the doc says your quantitative hCG is in a few days. From that point your doc will probably monitor your hCG to ensure that it is doubling correctly.
As far as the clear odorless discharge, it could indicate several things, and we don't know what the texture of it is (although a watery clear orderless discharge was one of the first things I noticed when I found out I was pregnant).
Good Luck!

I noticed alot of extra discharge when I just found out I was pregnant so it is possible that you are experiencing the same thing... however, as everyone will tell you, symptoms do not add up to a pregnancy diagnosis. I know of many women who have also not gotten a positive on a HPT.
I think that what you have said could really go either way and you'll just have to wait until that doctor's appointment (I know that's not so helpful, sorry)
But when you do get to the doc, make sure they don't do just another urine test as they are exactly the same as the ones you can buy. Ask for a blood test and make sure you get one as it will be the only way for you to get some peice of mind.. good luck

Well it's hard to say. I was late and on BC. So I wasn't sure. But then, after being about 2 weeks late, my boobs started to hurt really bad. My boobs never hurt. So, I took an HPT, and voila, I"m prego.
Anything is possible. I'd maybe take another test, and do it when you first wake up. Other than that, let's see what the doc tells you on Friday. Good luck and keep us posted.

I even have had that heppen many cases. I even have 2 infants had 5 miscarriages and am now 22 weeks pregnant. often while i replaced into uposed to get my era i could purely have some recognizing. i could try that day and get an outstanding verry gentle nonetheless. With this being pregnant i in my opinion had implantation cramps 2 weeks after my era I knew i replaced into pregnant precise away so I waited 5 days earlier my era replaced into suposed to return and that i've got been given a mild advantageous retested 2 days later and it replaced into verry advantageous. So in case you allready have been suposed to have a era it does no longer be to early to objective. Allthough you need to attend a million greater week and retest some cases for some women human beings it takes a sprint longer for them to get an outstanding consequence. reliable success!

You can miss your period for any reason under the sun, as a result your hormones fluctuate giving you ever known pregnancy symptom under the sun (which also happen to be the same ones for PMS).
If the pregnancy tests were negative its pretty safe to bet you're not pregnant.

I guess asking how you are doing D... is out of the question.
but.... if i can give you some comfort...
.... you can miss your period once in a while.
Stress can be the culprit.
Too much exercise... ie/ running every day,
can also disrupt your body's hormones.
anyways.
Hope all is well.
drop me a line anytime!

it could very well just be your cycle changing...and you'd be very suprised the way stress can throw a woman off from a regularity...just relax...I think I'd test agin to be on the safe side, next week sometimes...sometimes a womans HCG levels arent high enough at just 5days late...trying using first response...

you can miss your period for alot of reason. sudden weight loss, or weight gain, stress, and your enviroment.
i always thought i was pregnant cause i was a few days late but when i really was i just knew. i felt different (just like you said).
weird but i knew i was pregnant when i couldnt drink a beer, it made me sick, and i hadnt missed my period yet.
