Yes, we all know Harry Pah-urs a classic. It's an amzing story, epic and what not, but there are many books way beyond them.
Okay, brace yourself for the best book ever written. No, its not my opinion, its the plain pure truth.
I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak. This man is a gift from above, I tell you. It is great for guys and gals. Breathtaking. It's more than I could handle. You want to read it again and again, cuz it makes your insides tingle. Its just that......amazing. It's fun, too. And funny. But it's deep too, but only if you (the reader) makes it so. Read it, and the world of fiction will look brainless and pathetic, compared to this miracle of a book. I shall spare you the rest, cuz i think you get the point.
Also, Runaway Jury by J. Grisham was good too. Shocker ending. Killer movie. (killer in a good way)
Read on, fellow literary freakishans.

My favorite book was the classic Heidi. I know it sounds a little childish but the author paints such a vivid picture that I can almost imagine being up there taking in the breath taking views of the mountain.
Something a little more modern would be Kafka's The Metamorphosis. Very interesting literature!
