Find factors of a number other than just thinking of it in your head.Sorry if its hard to understand what i said.I was wondering because iam slow at thinking =\rai ♥

If you want to find the factors of a number x, take the prime numbers and divide them into x. If they divide evenly without any remainder then they are good. Like if x=72, then 2 divides without remainter, so does 3, but not 5, etc.

The Way i do it is a factor tree. they may take up extra time but you can go back and look over your work. Plus teacher love it when you show your work!

Use your calculator and just type in the number divided by 2,3,4,etc. until you have all of the factors. Easiest way I know how to do it.
