Did you flat out tell her or did you just drop hints? If you flat out told her than don't take any calls, reply to any emails, etc. It's harsh but after a while they get the idea.

Don't return calls, if she invites you somewhere tell her you made other plans. She will eventually get it. Just lay low and she will go! Or just keep her as a phone friend I have 2 friends I just can't bear in person. Be nice about it.

I think you have to be more specific with this person. I feel uncomfortable when.., We don't seem to have much in common. I feel like I've changed and try not to be hurtful or rude.
She may think that you will get over it or she may not have many other friends so she will cling to you.
You just have to move on with your life.

I think you need to take a look at yourself and not your so called friend. How must she feel that you are treating her like this, personally though I think she is better off without you.

Stop inviting her places, stop accepting invitations to go with her places, don't call her, if she calls you quickly end the conversation...
or you could just simply tell her you think you need a break from your friendship with her.

I hope you weren't that flat out frank. because with that attitude she'll be the only friend you got. instead try to explain to her you and her are growing apart
