Well, it depends upon where you live, but the first place to try is the website for you local National Weather Service office. You can find that office on the website http://newweb.wrh.noaa.gov/wrh/nwspage.php
and then go to the appropriate site and look at the climate data.

This link will show you. You type in your city,state or zip code and then roll your mouse over forecast then roll your mouse over to history and then click past month. It will only show you August 2007 and September 2007. It only shows you the past twelve months if you have Accuweather Premium. Which you can subscribe to by clicking 12 months where you select the month.

Also, you can look it up from the National Weather Service website. You go this link below and click on the map where your area is and then on the blue bar on the left hand side you scroll down to where it says climate and then you click local.
