That depends on what the something is. If it's something like doing the dishes, twice or three times. My mama don't play no games.

Well,you know it depends on on what you are told to do. Now if someone said "you need to get laid" I'll think,now that's good advice and I will do that ASAP. However if someone says"you need to get you car inspected" then well,sometimes it doesn't sink in until I'm told several times

At home? About three times. At work,I do everything on my own initiative so I don't have to be told,which I really dislike.

it all depends on just what that is that i'm being told to do... if my mom tells me to do the dishes, usually she has to tell me once, or not even tell me at all, before i go ahead and do it. but if it comes to something like my room, she has to threaten to go through everything herself before i finally do it.
