I just started sixth form today, and i found it horrible. I wasn't very nervous, and, although i chatted to people, i found a lot of people unapproachable.

It's all girls, and they all came up from the high school, so nearly all of them know eachother. I hung around with a few girls, but they were not on my level at all.

I went to private school before and got on so well with everybody, but now this place is huge, its just so hard.

Obviously, its easier to talk to people when they're on their own, but thats not something that occurs often.

I was fine before!! But i don't want to go for the next two years without an in school social life.

Its not nerves inhibiting me, just please help me!

I really really don't want to go tomorrow, i've never felt like this before in my life.

Please help.

:)

You've only had one day. People tend to group with people they know when they first start, because the whole situation itself is knew. Give it a few days and you'll find people become more adventurous.

The first days always horrible - give it a week and see if you don't feel better...
