Yes, but I can always get through to those my age and younger too. I like being universally sensible =) I do find that some things are easier to talk about with certain age groups...there are many things that many of each class don't seem to want to acknowledge...though, this does not hamper the greatness of each one of us...it only adds to us...I relate to older people rather those my own age, always have, but, much of my energy and time tend to go into helping friends closer to my age group...I like learning from the older folks and transferring that wisdom, through my filter, down the line....I get a kick out of them all =)

Of course, I tend to relate to Older people, because they have been their and done that. And they give me more knowledge about things that I might not know to much about! But don't get me wrong some older people let's just say don't ack their age.But the type of older that I'm talking about r the one's that r in ther 80s & 90s I feel like they r still here for a reason!Holla

Definitely. When I was younger, I just didn't understand most people my age. I wanted to discuss serious issues and get into interesting conversations, and people my own age couldn't talk about much more than what brand of bubble gum they liked and what kind of Top 10 noise was playing on the radio. So I started hanging out with older people, and found that they could carry on a conversation for longer than three minutes. As for older women, I adore them. My longtime girlfriend is scandalously older than me, and I love that.

You know, now that you mention it, yeah. And I'm only 17, is that normal? I know I'm smart, and I know I must sound really smug for saying it but, I don't think it is possible for me to really connect to anyone at school. It's just really hard to find someone to have an intelligent conversation with, so I guess thats why. I often go to my old middle school and talk to my 7th grade science teacher, he was the best and really smart. I think a good blow to the head would help, don't you think?

Yes. I've always been older than my age. I've always had older friends & boyfriends. It's just the way I am is so much better understood by someone who is of a mature mind than someone who is barely learning to understand themselves.

well well well...this is a very good question...interesting... in my point of view, there's nothing wrong for a woman to have any connection with older people....its normal to date with a guy who's older than you...but if you are a man, its very abnormal to date with an older woman because this will look like mummy and son... you wont want it will you?

Great question, wish I'd though of it. I've never been comfortable with age-mates. All my friends are significantly younger ( mid-20s) or older ( mid50's or 60's,I kid you not).
