Well, right now, yes, because even if a state makes medicinal marijuana legal, the federal government says that it is a controlled substance with NO medical value and will prosecute anyone who uses it for possesion/sale/cultivation of the drug. Now, if the federal government agreed to allow the states some leeway, it would be a different story.

I think it should be legal. It can be very helpful for a lot of different things medically. Cocaine is actually still legal to use medically, though not used often and it is much more addictive than marijuana, but marijuana is deemed as to highly addictive and taken out of medical use.

No, it is no longer criminal. below federal regulation, it ought to no longer additionally be criminal interior the states the place it is okay below state regulation, based on what you do with it. besides the fact that, based on how the statute is worded, a suggestion for scientific marijuana in NM could be data which disproves "purpose to distribute" in TX (thereby probable reducing it from a legal to a misdemeanor, and probable even a citation offense). i'm uncertain how TX marijuana regulations are worded, although, so this would possibly not be the case in TX. as an occasion: A. The regulation says "possession of marijuana is punishable via a great of $a hundred." "possession of marijuana with purpose to distribute is a variety IV legal. If the quantity of marijuana is in a techniques better than X, a criminal presumption that's possessed with purpose to distribute is permissible." B. The regulation says "possession of marijuana is punishable via a great of $a hundred." "possession of marijuana with purpose to distribute, or possession of an volume of marijuana in a techniques better than X, is a variety IV legal." In occasion A, the data of the advice might are available in to instruct it replaced into no longer possessed with purpose to distribute, if the advice enables an volume in a techniques better than X. In occasion B, the data of the advice is beside the point to the question of guilt, yet will probable be seen via the choose in passing on the sentence.

Yeah. I don't understand how you can get arrested for growing a natural plant. If you owned a daisy, and smoked it, they wouldn't arrest you. But wh is it different for Marijuana? The only time someone someone should be arrested for it is if they are selling it to a minor, driving while smoking, or using over a certain amount daily or weekly.
My mom has a joint/muscle problem and it would help.

YES, great anti-depressant.
and there would be less crime if they just legalized it all together because there would be no underground demand for it.
