Jerry was joking with his friend behind the camera when he said it and meant no harm. It was a slip made by an exhausted 81 year-old man in the 18th hour of his telethon. You could tell that he immediately felt terrible. Isiah was being confrontational in someone's face in an angry manner and blurted it out in an attempt to start a fight. That's the difference. I don't think it's a fair comparison. Jerry is a good man that has done a lot of wonderful things for people dealing with Muscular Dystrophy.

Jerry Lewis created the Muscular Dystrophy Association and has been a unpaid volunteer for 54 years raising over 2 billion dollars to help out

You cannot fire him or get him fired. He is the MDA chairman

This politically correct stuff is getting unbearable and ridiculous.

People in organizations need to get a life and stop trying to get people in trouble

There should be more humanitarians like Jerry Lewis in this world instead of
self involved,hypocritical people
who want their 15 minutes of fame.

Why? Did he do something to bother some group of easily offended people with a mob mentality?

I think the whole thing is ridiculous, some people are just too sensitive.
