Awwwww

But if it's any consolation i am in exactly the same posy as i never had a birthday cake as a child growing up :-( but on the bright side i don't really like icing anyway so maybe it was a blessing in disguise :-) i'm not that far off i just might consider having a 50th birthday bash, only problem is i don't quite feel or look anything like 50 yet, so that might feel quite surreal.

I've never had a daughter, but i have to say that i have been blessed with 2 beautiful boys, who have both had parties and birthday cakes. Why not treat yourself to a cake on your next birthday, that way you can choose one that your really like.

is your birthday at Christmas, or some feast day? i think I was 21 before I got a 'proper' birthday cake, my birthday is the day before halloween so I always got a halloween brack for my birthday....I thought i was missing out but now realise I wasn't

I've never been married or had children, I would like that very much, but I think it'll be a while yet

Poor you. I've only ever had one birthday cake and it was grey. No great treat there.

I did once have binocular vision. It's been so long, that I don't know what that is like.

Have a star in place of a cake.

Unlike every other 20 year old,i havent driven in a car several million mph over the speed limit with a couple of 17 year old girls with skirts the size of a teabag sitting in the back of the car drinking WKD's.I like to just cycle everywhere. If it is good enough for Boris Johnson, then it is good enough for me

Parents Im afraid. I never knew what the love of a parent meant. In care most of my childhood. Sad story? Maybe. I am a parent myself now. happily married and one lovely son. Its the best feeling in the world. Not just to be able to love another human being but to have it recipricated by the unconditional love of your child. xx
