Does anyone know what the chant from Monty Python translates to in English? The chant is:
Pie lesu domine
Dona eis requiem
I was just wondering what that means.

They're words from the requiem mass. (Funeral mass.)

Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem.
Dona eis requiem sempiternam.

Blessed Jesus, Lord, grant them rest.
Grant them rest everlasting.

it's hard to pick a favorite - all the scenes are fabulous. it is a toss up between the scene of "the large wooden rabbit" and where the king of the swamp says "lets not argue over who killed who, this is supposed to be a joyous occasion". i also like when they first meet the french and they throw barnyard animals at them.

Is that where they blew the rabbit to smithereens with the Holy Hand Grenade?
