What the heck are you doing home alone for a week at that age? You should call a family member, or a trusted neighbor and tell them what is going on. but usually if the blood is bright your okay, but if its dark, then you might have problems.

Sweetie, you need to talk to a grownup that you trust, like your grandma or perhaps an aunt. I am amazed that your parents left you and your brother alone like this- he is NOT old enough to babysit you for week ( he needs to be at least 18, under the laws of most states) and YOU are much too young to be left alone. Your parents can get in a LOT of trouble if the authorities ever learn what they have done. It's called child endangerment, and it's a crime in every state, though the penalties for it vary somewhat. I am thinking that what you probably saw is bleeding from your first period, sweetheart. That's why you need to have an adult around, someone who can help you get the supplies and care you need, and also can explain what menstruation is. I seriously doubt that your brother understands this process, and it's highly unlikely that he will be able to help you. If he does try to explain what's going on, he is not likely to have enough knowledge to really be able to do it well- most boys his age don't. Can you call one of your friends, and ask her mom to help you? Don't be afraid to say what happened, your friend's mom will need to know in order to help you. I wish you luck, sweetheart. I'm sorry this happened when your parents were away, and I'm even more sorry that your mom didn't see fit to tell you about menstruation or how to prepare for it. What you are seeing is completely normal, and it's an expected part of growing up for all girls your age. ALL women have periods, sweetie- if we didn't, we couldn't have children. Again, good luck, and I would call one of your friends' moms and ask for some help.

I agree with the one who asked if your parents are home.. Some state have laws that parents should never leave children home under the age of 13 or whatever the age is... Why on earth would your parents leave you?? Did they not leave you a number to reach them?? Have you ever been on a period before? if not, no need to panick, just put a pad on if there are any otherwise get ahold of a friend you know or relatives to help you get some if you have any money.. Otherwise good luck!

nah angel. i was 16 watching my 13 yr. old bro. no biggie.
baby doll you are a woman now!
clean yourself up and call your mom if you can to let her know. if she isn't available, call a friend's mother and ask her to help you go to the store and purchase the right type of feminine product. you probably won't want to jump right into tampons - i know i didn't.

the appropriate element to do is to get a cat that already makes use of the muddle container and enable your cat notice. in case you cant arise with yet another cat, you may (at the same time as the cat is looking at) run your palms in the course of the muddle container (make specific its sparkling) for awhile. this could pastime the cat in the muddle container. (it would help in case you place the container over the place the cat many times is going) wish this helps. "lack of expertise killed the cat. interest grow to be framed"
