This is for a Sisterhood function at a synagogue. It is our yearly paid up membership dinner. We would like a performer(s) who can sing a musical score and perhaps act a bit within the context of the song, for Phantom of the Opera.

You can also hold auditions or go see a local performance at a theatre ad ask actors who's peroformances you enjoyed if they would be interested and are free that evening to perform for you. Go to www.backstage.com and click on 'contact' to inquire about placing an ad.

Are there drama programs at your local high schools? If so, ask the teachers; they can probably recommend someone from their own program (high school Seniors can be remarkably talented AND agree to work rather inexpensively), and if not, can point you in the right direction. (You might try the same with the theatre departments of any nearby colleges)

Did you ask someone in the Synagogue, surely someone has a relative or friend to whom they can refer you.
