Where was "Message in a bottle"with Robert Redford filmed ...in Maine?

Message in a bottle had Kevin Costner and Paul Newman, not Robert Redford. There were a few locations in Maine...Bath, Portland, New Harbor and Phippsburg.

As far as I know, it was filmed in Wilmington, NC. In fact it uses some of the same locations as Dawson's Creek.
