Absolutely! It's perfectly safe to use during breast feeding. It's the beneficial bacteria that primarily live in the digestive tract, so most of the contents of the pill would never get to your mammary glands.
Probiotics can be from a dairy source and many Acidophilus supplements may have some dairy base in it, but it doesn't have to have dairy. If you look around, you'll be able to find a few varieties that are not from dairy sources and/or are listed as "dairy free". We have a few that are dairy free, so I know there's quite a few out there.

Don't know about the dairy sensitivity, but I took 3 or 4 capsules a day for most of the time I was breastfeeding.
Just read the labels and see if it lists dairy, you can also call the supplement company and ask if there is anything for you to worry about.

The lactobacillus strains you usually find are not useful for vaginal health - they're gastrointestinal and only activate in that environment. I've been told that even a lot of the ones marketed as vaginal aren't the correct vaginal strain. Have you actually been diagnosed with a yeast infection by a doctor sending stuff off to the lab? Self diagnosis is wrong about 50% of the time. And if it's not responding to therapy, you may have an unusual or resistant yeast strain - it's a good idea to go back to your doctor to get antifungal sensitivities tested (or if your doctor is useless, a sexual health specialist). There are a lot of reasons an infection may not respond and you can pretty much always deal with it if you identify the right tools.

That bacteria lives in your body anyway, so it is safe for baby.
This not a supplement, like a vitamin. It contains live bacteria (beneficial bacteria) that are supposed to be present in a healthy digestive tract.
There is no "dairy free" form of this bacteria, because there is no dairy in it, nor is it in any way related to milk.
The term "lacto" in its name simply refers to the fact that these bacteria convert lactose and other natural sugars into lactic acid.

rather than risk something going thru the breast milk, when I was nursing, I simply got some plain unflavored live culture yogurt and used it like a vaginal yeast treatment. I filled a sterilized turkey baster (boil it in water for five minutes to sterilize), filled it with the yogurt and injected it vaginally, twice a day for one week.....no more yeast, no risk to the baby. A bit messy, but that is what sanitary napkins are for.

Go to a good health food store or Nature's Sunshine website. This is simply putting good bacteria back into your body. It should be fine for the baby, too.
