Yes, if it is the larger grain over the smaller, the carrots are not thick but more medium and thin, the peel is removed, they are dry, not too soft and smell good. The grated carrot, if too moist, must be drained on a paper towel and should be served on top of the salad, separate or layered near the top without dressing but with dressing it quickly becomes soggy except for pure vinegar and lemon juice because it's the oil and creaminess not the liquid.

Not really, they won't keep still when I am grating them, and the little bastards bite me. I find the Moulimix is safer. Noisy, though.

ewie no, cuase my mom always grates the skin off a'fore she slices them, an all the peelins are in the sink, it reminds me if someone scraped up those peelins an put them on top bleh *sticks my tongue out* ♥
