I don't want to use harmful chemicals to get rid of weeds and grass from my driveway and patio. Are there any safe things to use to kill weeds quickly and efficiently?

Table salt. Cut them as short as possible and pour salt over them making sure they are covered. It will take a few days and if it rains you will have to add more salt but it will work.

You could also go to Home Depot and look for some all natural week killer. They have a lot of new green (environmentally friendly) products.

Good luck!

You can make your own up in a spray bottle, you need:

1 cup vinegar

1/4 cup salt

1/4 cup washing up liquid.

Vinegar kills the weed, salt stops it from regrowing and washing up liquid holds it all together.
