Why does it seem that the more technologically advanced the human race becomes, the stupider we get?

Because we become totally dependent on technology and dont do our work anymore, not even the thinking. Gets our brains rusted and body indolent. For example, u know how remote control help us. We get to operate the machine from a distance and thats cool. But have u seen someone who wishes that since he happened to sit far from the rc, it should be improved so it could come by itself to his hands?? Now, thats not cool.. Such things are what makes us stupid. I have seen people as such.

Well because its true. Technology makes people think less because it does the thinking for us or takes our mind off of things that requires thinking. All the people who are inventing these are still doing the thinking and make tons of money because of it. Sometimes it seems to good to be true because it is.

Because we rely on technology to do everything for us. Allowing calculators in school was a really bad idea and years later most kids can't even write a complete sentence because they are consumed with netspeak.

Because we're not learning anything from the technology, it's just doing all the work for us, we just learn how to use it.

We are not using our brains. We are letting technology do it for us.

Because machines are doing all the thinking for us.....
