I am smelling upset here! I think it will be the game of the week because I think Oklahoma will handle Miami pretty easily.

North Texas would beat Arkansas State like an old rug! Stoops didn't run up the score. He should have let his freshman QB play the whole game with Miami coming up but he took him out right after halftime. You can't blame 2nd and 3rd stringers for trying to score when they get a chance to play! OU could have gone well over 100 points in that game - jerk!

I couldn't agree with you more Stonewall, i smell an upset in the making, because Texas looked horrible last week, that's why Texas dropped in the ranking from #4 to #7 in both of the new Polls. TCU bring a defense, that will make Texas earn everything they got. Upset of the week TCU over Texas.

TCU has an outstanding deffense, probably the best in their division, honestly its going to be a knock down drag out, but i do not see TCU beating Texas, would i be surprised if they did....NO, i would not, casue if Texas plays like they did against Arkansas State then i would be shocked if TCU didnt beat them...it all depends on what Texas team shows up to play...cause TCU is very consistant and you will know what they are going to bring

on a similar time as i'm a die tense Texas fan and think of that Texas ought to truly play and beat Florida, i think of you should supply Florida the ease because of the fact the championship would be performed in Florida making it a house game. nonetheless might decide for to work out this game. Texas vs. Florida could be a much greater advantageous game than the two a huge 12 south team or and SEC team against Penn State. i think of the two way that game could be a blowout.

IT WAS JUST ONE GAME!

I can imagine it being pretty hard to get pumped up against Ark State...we had a few plays that show a lot of promise. I think this weekend we'll really show case our talent on a National Scale instead of PPV...alot of people are bitter (maybe its because there team lost in the title game) saying we were a one player team>>>GET OVER IT!!! Colt will come through this year and be a leader Texas Fans have become accustom too...this weekend will be our showcase game. Why show all your cards to Ark state when you have a top 25 match up the following week???...Texas did what it was suppose to do when you face a low level opponent ***Get the WIN and don't get HURT.

ohhhhh...and STOOPS sucks...he had to hang 70 on a team crappier than Ark state to get a smidgen of respect and a bump in the polls...he's such a media hawg!

TCU is very capable of giving the Longhorns a battle but I think they will come up a little short. Oklahoma should whip Miami by about 2 td's.

Most likely not, but it will be a good game. Texas secondary will struggle against TCU passing, but Texas got a wake up call with that lazy preformance on Sat., so they should play up to par this weekend.

Yes, TCU will beat Texas. I've been saying this since I first looked at Texas's scuedule this year. TCU's defense will be too much for Texas to handle.

2 games marked on my TIVO...OR vs MI and TCU vs TX...
both VERY interesting match ups.

TCU does have the potential to pull off the upset. But TX may have the kinks worked out after last week. if so, theyll be a tough team to knock off. i think this will be a 2cd half adjustment game. meaning, the coach that makes the best 2cd half adjustments is going to win. w/ this being each teams 2cd game theres still things both teams need to get worked out. the 1st half always shows where you need to improve and what changes need to be made to your game plan. its up to the coach to figure that out and make the improvement for the 2cd half to insure the victory.

TCU turned the ball over twice on fumbles and had the momentum at the half coming off a 14 pt 2cd quarter.but they went scoreless in the 3rd quarter. Luckily they intercepted 4 passes in the game to keep Baylors scoring threats minimal

TX looked like they were on pace for a huge blow out after the 1st qtr...maybe they let down a lil, who knows. but to go scoreless in the 4th quarter?!?!?! that make me think somethings wrong w/ their game plan. only putting up 7 in third also shows the proper adjustment werent made. they had no business only beating AK ST by 8. should have been at least 20. i cant believe TXs D let AK ST out pass and out rush the TX O....

will TCU win?? maybe...will i be surprised if they do?? NOPE!

Texas got sloppy, which is sort of what they did in the Pre-VY years. They played down to the level of competition.
