I really enjoyed it i would share it with my kids, but they would probably not have the appreciation for it that i have. Having been spoiled with cgi effects in all the movies nowadays... I Love Harryhausens style, and the claymation, stop motion animation & modeling done for that film was awesome. Some of the mythology was sketchy, not a scholarly piece by any stretch, but good crunchy entertainment!

Ray Harryhausen, who my son met at a comic con, actually, was and is the most inovative creative genius behind many of these films..it had a brilliant cast, and Mr. Harryhausen was brilliant and the producuer of this movie,..it was awesome, and still it and I would suggest if you haven't seen it, see it soon, I assume the asker has......p.s., more on R. Harryhausen: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0366063/

Awesome animation plus it had Burgess Meredith. That's an Oscar winning combination!

Cute. Brought Greek myth to a wide audience.
Mixed a few things here and there ...
But best of all, kept the tales magical!

Some of the effects were not as good as it should have been but on the whole it was good. Myths are hard to do and not look phony.
