My department here is running a little over budget this year. Other than the Chief's salary can you suggest some ways we might save some money and still harrass the innocent?

when you make traffic stops, just confiscate the drugs and money!

One way is to falsify reports saying you had a complaint obout someone acting homicidal, this way you don't need a search warrent to raid house. While there you can confiscate perfectly leagal guns (this happened to me, true but long story) then tell tell the victic that the guns were lost in storage and sell them to people inyour community. you get the money from the sale, the crime rate goes up and you buget will be increased. Thank god there is still some good old fasion police work going on out there. My department has been doing this for a few years now, thank George (GOD) bush for the patroit act.
