My boyfriend smoked at the time and I was young and immature so I just was doing what he did and I hope to God I can stop soon!

I started when I went through my divorce about 10 or 11 years ago. I was so mad at my ex for smoking, and then I had to go and pick them up. I'm sorry to say, but smoking is still one of my most favorite things to do. I quit during two pregnancies & while breast feeding, but I picked them up soon after. I'm a closet smoker, and I'll tell you no one can make a smoker quit unless they're ready. Don't judge & don't start!

I started at 16 because I was (and still is) severly depressed. I'm almost 29 now and I'm smoking more than ever because my life has gotten worse since then. I tried quitting so many times, but I just couldn't do it. Smoking is the only thing (besides alcohol) I have to calm me down or feel good.

I don't smoke. Both my parents smoked and where are they now? They're in hell!! I'm the oldest child and I have 2 younger sisters (16 and 14) but they were both rich so we have more than enough money to live, we're really rich actually. I try my best to be like a father to my sisters so they look up to me.

I'm so stupid....I started in High School cause I thought it was the cool thing to do....And when I went to quit a year later I realized the stupid drug was in my system and I couldn't quit smoking....I smoke a pack a day....

I started smoking because I didn't want to die healthy. Will stop when I die, some time soon I think.

I started at age 12 because I wanted to be cool like my cousin whom I looked up to (stupid yes, but hey...I was 12!!). I have stopped several times over the years. I get sick of em and then I stop, and then I crave one and then I start again.

i really thought it made me cool and mature cigarette in one hand and drink in the other i stopped because i found out i was pregnant and never went back to it when the baby was born
