Today we opened our first Arabic speaking PUBLIC SCHOOL! Does anyone seriously think this is O.K.? Does anyone seriously think that Islam is not going to be taught in this school? Has our goverment not been digging it's heels in on the so called separation of church an state since 1948? What, does this only apply to Christianity? I believe America as we have known it, is no more. She's being taken over from within. I tink we may have reached the point of no return.God help us.

Yes we are "the melting pot, but when we start having Arabic speaking , or any other language than English public schools, we have ceased "melting and began dividing. Divided we fall. Which is by the way the goal of Islam, to take the whole earth with Shirea law.

The government was gone a LONG time ago. Ever since the Scopes Monkey trial, things have have been going more downhill than ever (though it was at least a little on its way downhill before that). It seems to me that "separation of church and state" does indeed seem to apply mainly to Christianity (I only see Mormon seminary buildings near public schools, and I had to learn about Islam back in 7th-grade history; Christianity was mentioned only when it was strictly historical - like when the Crusades happened, when Ireland was converted, etc. - nothing about Christianity itself).

I believe that school is a dumb idea...I realize that this nation was built as a melting pot....trust me, it's been drilled into my head since 5th grade....but more and more the english language, the language that this nation was founded on, is becoming extinct. Everywhere you turn the english language is being taken over....and while I realize that it isn't a bad idea to know two languages, I don't believe that illegal citizens and foreign citizens should recieve more rights than me, and be able to do what they want because otherwise it is an ethnic crime....The other day I recieved a voting card that had the primary language as spanish....I threw it out immediately....It is riddiculous that in my english speaking suburb, spanish is used as a primary language. If anything, there are more Polish than spanish in my neighborhood....
I think the nation needs to reconsider....well....a lot...

Our government... mind... wow, yeah, those words don't go together at all.
I hadn't heard of this, and I'm not entirely sure that I agree with the idea. If it was a private school it'd be different, but a public one? I don't think I can support it at this time.
(And it is NOT b/c it's an Arabic school; I feel that way about any non-English public school in this country since our official national language is English)

It depends on how the school is run and what is taught.
We will need Arabic Speaking people who can infiltrate Muslim terrorist cells, provide intelligence on what they are doing and disrupting their activities.
In Israel Arabic Speaking people have been very successful at infiltrating Muslim terrorist cells and have been successful at foiling many of the terrorist plots.
If that is the purpose of this school, then that is quite helpful.
Of course if the purpose of the school is to create a bunch of uneducated thugs who are out to commit acts of terror then this school is a bad idea.
I would like to have more information about this school.

"Mind" + "Government" = Oxymoron.
I do not believe in religion - ANY religion being taught in schools. If a family is Determined to follow a religion, then is should be taught in, and remain in, the home. Teaching of religion is a FAMILY obligation. To my mind, however, the induction of a child or underage person into a religion, usually with the premise that it is the ONLY REAL ONE, is tantamount to child abuse.

I firmly believe that all PUBLIC schools be English and available to everyone...if you need something different, start your own private schools.

So is what you're saying that you'd prefer a white, Christian monoculture? Why do you assume that Islam will be taught in the school as doctrine? Why can't you give them a chance and see the result?
The xenophobia I see in the US disturbs me more than your perceived "takeover from within"...

The USA depends too much on religion, and should change their motto from "in god we trust" and leave religion out of politics.
