I don't think so. This is how my uncle chose to go (assisted suicide)..he was just given an initial dose and then they upped it through the night..he never appeared to be anything but asleep. His heart stayed strong until around 4am, then grew progressively weaker and finally he passed just after 8. We just sat there with him the whole time so he knew we loved him. It was heartbreaking. But I supported his decision since he was in terrible pain from cancer that spread very quickly and no longer responded to treatment. RIP, Scottie!

No. Since morphine is a CNS depressant, a person would just go to sleep.

I don't know I've never dyed from it, or know anyone who has, what it can hurt is the people who care about you. From what I hear about morphine it's terrible, it makes you hallucinate, and not about pleasant things, when my brother was in a horrible car accident and was given that he said every time that he closed his eyes he dreamed that dogs were ripping his legs off, and that's what he had surgery on !!!!!!!!

I don't think it would be painful but, frightening . From what I've observed you cannot breathe but, could still be aware deep inside.

No it would not hurt... it probably would feel breath taking... I know this sounds twisted but that's what i think.

if she was sleep she felt nothing but if she was awake and nothing happened to get it out than she had a stomach pain but it wasnt bad... i hav tried to kill myself tht way...... when did she die?? and im sorry for your loss

no you just pass out and or choke on your own vomit. but would be too out of it to feel pain. Sounds like fun doesent it.
