He is 35-12 counting this year and last year.
Two time Cy Young winner Johan Sanata is 33-17.

( No I'm not comparing Wang to Santana. But I am saying the guy is no fluke that's for sure. )

I'm a Yankee fan, and I think Chien-Ming Wang is great. He's been very close to a no-hitter a couple times this year, and he's a ground ball pitcher. He's an excellent pitcher, but you have to lose sometimes.

I'm a Red Sox fan, and I don't know what other Sox fans or anyone else has said about Wang, but I never thought he was a fluke. He's a great pitcher. He struggles at times, like all pitchers, but he's a 1st. class pitcher who any team would be happy to have. I'm disappointed with Dice-K this year, but I'm a Red Sox fan who can say good things about the Yankees and it would be nice to see Yankee fans say positive things about the Sox once in a while as well. We may be a big rivalry, but it still doesn't need to get as personal and hostile as it does. There are many more important things in life to worry about.

This guy is a great pithcer. And yes, even though I'm a yankee fan, they are not that comparable, Johan is a better pitcher. But I think Wang is great and I totally agree with you.

I've never called him a fluke. Hes a solid citizen in my book. 2nd in AL Cy Young voting last year - not too shabby.
