My 48 year old sister - 8 years ago. My 53 year old brother - last month. ..... thank you for all your answers.

This is hard for me. YES, my HUSBAND 18 months ago, by hanging himself, severe depression. What a journey to go through as this grief, that nobody understand unless they have walked in our shoes. This is the worst death, so many questions, guilt, denial, worry, saddness, bad dreams and images. Too many to mention.

Yes my sister shot her self in the head with a 35mg. Why she thought her husband was going to leave her. I still to this day don't understand why she did what she did.....She left behind two small children ages3&5. Suicide is for cowards,I think of her daily is has been years,but she still in my heart where she'll stay.

In the 1960's my Uncle committed suicide so that his life savings would not be spent on his terminal disease. He wanted his family to have the money not the doctors.

Me. 12 years ago, I was so broken hearted that I decided to end everything. I drank an entire of tequila, smoked a pack of cigarettes, drank 6 bottles of beer, & swallowed some pain killers.
I survived but now, my heart is weak, literally.

yes my cousin and best, friend; it happens, in panama right after we graduated from high scholl; she caught her husband cheating on her and she jumped from a real tall building during a nacional holiday, while the parade is going on; she just died on the spot in the middle of the street, that was very sad and hard for our family to cope with, i still remember that sad day take care be bless!!!.

Yes my cousin it was 15yrs ago she was in High school and the gym teacher (male) started an affair with her when eveyone found out she shot herself. I think he should have went to jail but he didnt. it was horrible.

Yes. And I don't want to say who it was. Two committed suicide, and more attempted it. Bipolar disorder definitely *is* hereditary. Seriously.
