Its possible, and if the game is good, he may want to rip it off.

Open the file, where you can see the code, cut and paste it into a txt document, save it, print it out, let him see the print copy.

Intellectual property requires protection..it may not be much in your mind, that is, until you go to toys R us and you find a simplified version on the shelves and your teacher doesn't have to teach anymore.

It's just a case scenario, everything maybe cool, just the same do some saved versions, lock them away.

If flash doesn't allow you to see the code, put into dreamweaver, you'll see it all there.

As previously suggested, there are many programs that will take apart a Flash animation (SWF file) and allow you to extract the components, including ActionScript, which you could then quickly reassemble into a FLA file, or simply send along as parts.

As previously mentioned, SWF Decompiler works quite well:

You lost the .fla? Well then you better get a SWF Decompiler, I do not know how well or how they work though. Otherwise if it was fairly simple rewrite it. There are multiple sources in flash though, and he wants all the source on all the MC's, Buttons and Frames? Or does he want the FLA?

I agree with the first and the third question, use a decompiler.

1. Do a search with any script commands you remember as keywords

2. If the above fails, offer to write a new one and send the script for that
