you tell a friend what shoes you are getting and they go out and buy the same ones???

The same thing just happened to my son. He was seriously annoyed. I think the only thing you can do is take it as a compliment. Clearly they admire your excellent taste!

on the first 'offense' you take it as a compliment. what else can say 'i admire you/your choices' better than copying.. but if that ever happens again, with the same friend, you could either make them a lil uncomfortable by sayin something like 'ohh, i was gonna get those shoes too! but then a friend of mine made me realize how childish/outta fashion they look...' or if you wanna be more serious, just ask your friend whats going on, and let them know you are getting annoyed by it. but again, if this is the first time happening with this particular friend, let it go!

hey be pleased they want to be like you and that is why that is nice and its shwoing you hvae good taste.
