Ok, I'm due to have my second child next week. I am still wanting to have sex with my husband. It's like I want it more than ever right now. My husband and I got into an argument last night about it. He wasn't rude or anything. I just asked him why he doesn't want to have sex or touch me any more. He told me because it was awkward for him, and that he just doesn't like it when I'm pregnant. It really kind of hurt my feelings. I already feel like I'm unattractive. And of course I don't have the little petite body that I had before I got pregnant. It's so hard to feel sexy right now.

Why would sex be awkward for a man to have sex with his wife or girlfriend. Please if any of you guys out there can explain this to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Well, I don't know what his reasoning is. My husband is all OVER me (38 weeks) and says I've never been more attractive.

My girlfriend, on the other hand, is "scared" to do anything 'til after the baby comes and she says that it's "weird". Our last encounter was about six weeks ago and I know there will be nothing else between us 'til I have my son.

Good Luck, Hon!!!!

well, this is not really the forum for this question, but I'll try to answer it in an acceptable way.
For me, when my wife was pregnant with each of our 3 kids, we had physical contact right up to within the last month of her pregnancies. As long as it isn't painfull, and some extra tenderness is used by the guy, it is great for both partners. I found my wife to be every bit as attractive while pregnant as ever. It may be that your husband is afraid of hurting you or the baby. Just be patient and explain that it is ok and that you want to be close to him in "that" way. We found it most comfortable in two different positions, but again, this isn't the forum for that kind of response. I suppose if you need to know that, or have more questions you could email us to ask them. That way you don't violate the guidelines for Yahoo.
Good luck And enjoy those kids!!

I think it is because your husband feels weird having sex knowing there is a baby inside of you. He might think the baby might get hurt or things like that.....Maybe he sees you as a mother and not as a wife while you are pregnant, and that fries the brain of some men. It is not everybody that likes to have sex with somebody's mother.....

Who knows....

Don't worry though..... as soon as you deliver the baby your husband will get back to normal.

Hello Tiffany.
People have different tastes, behaviors, moods, decisions... For guys as well, we have different ideas and tastes: Some like fat girls, some like black girls, some like being G4y, some hate to even touch another boy's body... It's pretty hard to say that all men have the same way of behave. May be he is not in favor of having sex with a pregnant lady, whereas many find it pretty exciting! don't worry at all about your body, be positive, after the birth of your child, your husband will love you so much that you can't imagine :-)

PS: Psychologists found that having sex with a pregnant lady will affect the behavior of the child! In other words, the actions of mother during pregnancy has a great impact on child, I suggest you to have sex 12 hours a day after pregnancy, try to wait some time :-).
Take care of yourself. :-)
