it's loaded, how do i undo that?

If this is your first time trying this, hopefully it's not loaded. Make sure it's pointed at something you don't mind blowing a hole in. Then place your thumb on the hammer to hold it. Pull the trigger while FIRMLY holding the hammer and ease the hammer slowly forward. If it's not your gun, get the owner to do it.

Remove the clip, always a good idea. If it is a slide action you can then eject the chambered round aka 45 cal.
IF not, first pull back the hammer to its' max position and then, while gently squeezing the trigger slowing return the hammer to the stop position, then eject the round.(Its OK to use two hands for safety, if you're steady) It also is wise to point the weapon at a blank wall while doing this procedure.

VERY intently. What you need to do is save your thumb/finger on the hammer, slowly pull the set off rather till you sense the hammer unencumber. Now slowly/intently enable the hammer relax against the firing pin. consistently save THE GUN dealing with removed from your self OR every person. IF a threat element IT in the direction of a secure place on the floor/SAND to soak up THE BULLET IF THE HAMMER SLIPS OUT OFF YOUR FINGER...
