Depression does not know how rich or successful a person is? A chemical imbalance can easily happen to a person who has a lot of money and success.
Also, the rich and successful many times have much more stress in their lives than other people do. A common misunderstanding is that a rich person does not have any stress. Completely not true. Some have been able to get rich and successful and not be loaded with stress, but for the most part, the rich and successful have much more stress.
Also, some of these people have problems with drugs or alcohol. However, there are people in many different levels of society who have tried to commit suicide because of drugs or alcohol. That is not anything special to the rich and successful.

loss of motivation and drive. They can buy everything and don't have the satisfaction of having to have earned it. Theres no satisfaction in their lives.
They also have the question of " is this person my friend, or is it my money?" They always have to question a persons motives.

they are kind of stupid and need to spend 6 months to a year being poor making minimum wage and living in a dump. then go back to their lives with a whole new perspective.
