Kiddo, JFK was as close to today's Democrats in ideology as Barry Bonds is to natural record-breaking.

After JFK died the party was taken over by marxists. It has been in a steady state of decline ever since. The only reason that they are still a significant party is that they gained control of the US public schools, university system and entertainment industry early on and have been pumping out little heads filled with mush in order to maintain a voting base. Comrade Hillary is poised to enter into the next phase of the marxist agenda by establishing a "National Academy Of Government Workers", which will guarantee a robotic proletariat for years to come. I'm sure a course of indoctrination will be a requirement for government employment if she is allowed to take over the country. What was that little red book the chinese were required to carry at all times under Chairman Mao called?

Joe, get real. If Kennedy have been president right this moment what are the possibilities that a republican congress might vote for the balloting rights act? Conservatives right this moment are lots greater radical than they have been till now. What got here about to the Jacob Javitz's and Everett Dirksen's? And the form? If republicans had their way the only substitute interior the unique bill of Rights that ought to notice to the states pursuant to the 14th may well be the 2nd.

The Democrats have been taken over by the children of the 60's..the 'peace and love' generation.
We were fed a continuous line of socialism via our heroes, T.Leary, A Hoffman, A Guthrie, J Baez, & etc. and our college professors, ALL lying to us that when we 'took over', there would be no more 'big government', no military-industrial complex, and that everone would have a free 'piece of the pie'.
We were young and inexperienced enough to swallow this nonsense and were put to sleep by the constant drone of the socialists.
Very few of us have awakened.
Those who are still unconcious are, unfortunately, now in power and are in the process of the final destruction of the U.S. Constitution (the only thing between us and a dictatorship government).
What happened to the Democrats? Socialism happened.
Short and sweet, it was socialism that did it.

They have picked up the gauntlet thrown down by the Neo-Fascists.

It seems they have the will of the country behind them.
More are serving in the House and Senate now, and they will most likely take the White House.

Good or bad, you decide.

I thought Kennedy was all about personal responsibility and fighting communism. Modern-day democrats? The government's responsible for corraling our behaviour, and communism is a good idea. Totally different party.

The problem is that the Democrats think that what they can do for you is make you vote for the status quo, or find new ways to sell their socialistic agenda at the expense of the working class (the ones they claim as their own). Unfortunately, they have succeeded, as the average American just doesn't seem to get the picture. Shame on them. If you like what you got, keep sending them back to Washington.

They got it confused along the way,

now they only want to know what their country will do for them.

If you consider for a moment that the Democratic Party has been hijacked by a very small percentage of Democrats, the Socialists, and they sold out to George Soros and the Shadow Party, why do real Democrats stay with them?

I know that the majority of Democrats are not socialists, so why do they put up with these people destroying the country and the party?
