A-Rod has the potential to steal 40 bases in a season, but there is always the risk of an injury the more you run and the Yankees will not be willing to take that chance with him. You will see him continuing to run in select situations but not just for the sake to run up his base stealing numbers.

Probably. But he's not aleadoff man so it isn't his job to run. You could say the same with many other players. A-Rod was a 40-40 man in 98(I think).

He can be 40-40 still. He barely gets thrown out when he does steal. If he attempted 50 steals, he would get 40 easily.

no i really don't think so. 18 steals left, and he only has 22 steals in his the first 138 games. I highly doubt in 24 games he will average .75 steals a game that's 3 steals in 4 games. It's just too much even though he is a good basestealer and anyways the yankees don't need to send him, cause behind him in the lineup is strong enough where you don't need that extra base to risk an out.

He very easily could. The problem is getting him an opportunity to steal that much because of all the lefties behind him they like keeping him at 1st creating the hole on the right side for ground balls to sneak through.

yes its very possible he could he can but i don't think they will risk that and he steals bases once in a while but does it at the right moment i think he will be a 30/30 man

it is possible. A-rod is the best player in baseball and when you least expect it he will blow and show phenomenal skills and stats.

I think he would have a very good shot if he's allowed to run more.
