I think only homosexuals should be allowed to get married. Make them walk a mile in our shoes for a change.

I've already put my two cents' worth in on this (see my proposal for the "Protection of Marriage Act") and I was called everything from a Communist to an @$$hole. I say let them do whatever the hell they want, change the name of what we want to civil unions and let it go at that. My partner and I don't care what it's called; we just want the same rights as any committed couple. Especially since we've been together longer than most straight OR gay couples could imagine.

Nope.
I think they should only be allowed Marriage Contracts.

6 Month - for trying it on with each other.
1 Year - for those who really think they may be in love but still not sure.
5 year - for those who think they may be in love enough to want to have children with each other.
10 Year - for those May December couples.. shlt happens.
Lifetime Contract - for those devil-may-care couples who think they are in love and will always be in love and come hell or high water refuse to consider opting out of the relationship (this contract is for life.. no divorce.. no separation.. learn to deal)

Yes I do, in fact I think that polygamy in its various forms should be allowed as well - in other words the government should not enforce a given set of morals.

(But nice turn of the question!)

If they have obtained the proper license and premarital counseling and if they can make a commitment for life - without the ability of divorce then YES.

This question just keeps coming up... yes but in order to have it accepted by the hetrosexual voting population we need to call it something else. That way they can have their cake and homosexuals finally get theirs.

I think they should be allowed to get married, but there shouldn't be as many incentives to contribute to overpopulation.

It is unconstitutional for them not to be able to. Where is the equality in not giving them the same rights as every one else?

Oh wait... Not every one else has those rights! That's right! I forgot. No. If not everyone can get married, then they shouldn't either.
