Who cares if some one is gay?.......Do what you will and please don't feel the need to tell everyone about it, push your beliefs on others or mainstream your behavior...........

Rush is more strict in his pro-gay position. He is pro-gay if you are specifically a Republican Congressman from Idaho who gets caught playing footsie in a Minneapolis airport bathroom. He might accept other Republicans, but probably not Democratic gays.

Rush is just floating this on his show to see how it plays to the public so Republican strategists can preemptively deal with similar issues that may come to light (which they likely already know about). At the moment, his listeners are not very supportive. And, don’t be surprised if he uses his current statements to either exonerate a conservative or flame a liberal in the near future. Rush is a lot of things, but he is not stupid. He well may be setting up something that he can use on a similar but different matter.

Come on, that is almost word-for-word what Rush said on his show today. Can’t you at least pretend that you gave the matter some thought of your own?

Wait? What do you mean by that? Don't you know that Rush tells US what to think? If he thinks that, then we'll all think that. Isn't that how it works?

Can't have it both ways Moonbeam.

Besides, most republicans couldn't care less whether someone is gay. We just think it's silly for two guys to get married or for gays to prance around acting like the latest fashion in civil rights oppression. In fact, far MORE THAN HALF of America feels the same way. And if I'm not mistaken...I'll have to ask Rush to confirm this...only about half of all Americans call themselves 'Republicans' so that means that more than a few democrats feel the same way.

So are you going to vote THEM out of YOUR party?

Maybe Rush is hearing some tap tap taping, at his stall, he does have a rather a large stance

Once again you do not chose to be gay chooses you. Why would anyone want to have to hid in the closet, only to come out in a public bathroom to the sound of a tap tap taping

They only throw them out when they get caught being gay. They have to 'appear' not to be hypocrites, LOL. Appearances are very important to the hypocrites in the GOP. The gay Miss Piggy, otherwise known as Karl Rove, hasn't been thrown out of the GOP yet.

You democrats and liberals have no morals, therefore you don't have to live up to anything, and you think you have a green light to live as filthy as you want and not answer to anyone. You will someday to God.

On the other hand, people who claim to have be the moral party make mistakes yes, but not the whole party which you would like to throw them all together. At least we have the ability to feel guilty, and repent, then God forgives.

You people have no decent standard to live by, not much higher than the animal kingdom. I guess the senator should have just switched parties and came out of the closet.

Would you have welcomed him then?

You are the party of death. death of innocent babies, death of freedom of speech, death of our religious rights, death of a persons right to work for what they get in life, so they can have some pride, not just have the government give it them. death of pride for our soldiers and our country and our safety! And worst of all, death of our school children's minds and morals.

When did this happen?

I distinctly remember listening to him, probably more than 6 years or so ago now, and his saying that homosexuality was an "abomination" because the bible says so.

Interesting.

I think Rush is showing more signs of Alzheimers.

I'm not against gays. I'm not even sure why McGreevey resigned coming out of the closet.

I know many openly gay republicans, they are just as welcomed to their party as the openly gay Democrats are to theirs.

Please remember no Democratic presidential candidate supports gay marriage either.
