I do if it's a close friend, or if it's not much of an inconvenience for someone else. Or if they have volunteered to help, like the young man who offered me help getting off the bus with my groceries. I said, "no, thanks" to his offer to help me personally, but I said, "You could put that bag on the sidewalk for me."
But often I am sufficiently confident that the person does not want to help that I am too intimidated to ask. Like when I paid $300 for a prescription, then the doctor told me I should have paid only $4.50 because she had given me a voucher. I said, "Do you think if I asked they would give me a refund for the last refill?" She said, "I don't know, but you could ask." I was too certain they'd give me a hard time, and didn't have the nerve to ask.
Pitiful, isn't it?

No, not usually, in my home life. I don't want to inconveinence anyone and I figure I can just do it best & fastest myself.
But I am constantly asking God to help me thru out my day. I ask Him to help me make good decisions and to let me say the right things to people, etc. Thank goodness I have God to hear me!

Not usually, I like to pose questions that require intelligent thought. Questions for research, I don't ask unless, I need to take a poll or a survey.
Sometimes, I use this the get my creative juices flowing.

I do to those that I love. In all circumstances I ask them what I need if I feel that they will not be burdened by it.

I only ask for what i need when it comes to loneliness and sickness. I ask my wife to be with me and a kiss from my three year old daughter when i am depressed.
Financially, i don't ask from anyone unless there will come a time am really broke and nothing to be done but ask for financial help from other people.
I always ask the help of God for his daily blessings! I need His Divine guidance everyday.

I normally ask for what I need but in certain circumstances only:
I ask for it when it comes to work. Let's say that I need something to do my job well. So I ask for it.
When it comes to uncomfortable situations where I need something: time, space,peace, I ask for it.
When it comes to relationships, if I need a hug I ask for it.
If I need advice I ask for it.
If I need sex I don't ask for it. I suggest it instead.
If I need attention, I suggest I need it.
So it actually depends.
