I have a 1GB SanDisk jump drive. After deleting a bunch of files, the capacity did not change. I am now only using 525MB (added size of the 3 folders), but says that I have only 31MB left. I tried emptying my trash, ejecting the drive and reinserting, but still says 31MB. What gives?

Right click the drive in MY COMPUTER, select PROPERTIES, it will show you if you DO have files on it or not (the USED SPACE)

If so, try right click / format IF and only IF you are SURE there is nothing on it you need

Are you sure there are no hidden files?
