You're officially not a virgin, even if he didn't get all the way in. It's normal to be bleeding and nothing to be alarmed about.

It sounds like you have a gentle and understanding husband. It will probably hurt the next few times, but not as bad as this first attempt.

You may want to try some lube to make it easier (lube = a product specifically designed for sexual lubrication, to be used on the vaginal opening). You can find it in the women's health section and also where condoms are sold. Make sure you get a basic lube. Avoid any that say 'warming' or 'tingling'.

If u got hurt for the first time having sex than it was very natural. Most of the couples never had sex at first night because of this similar problem. Next time when you again have sex, it will also hurt you but not like before. It will hurt you 5 or 6 times after that you can enjoy your personal life with your hubby without any problem. This bleeding is showing you that you was a virgin before so your hubby should be more happy.

You are not a virgin anymore but unfortunately that doesn't mean it won't hurt the next time or even the time after. Sex can be quite uncomfortable even downright painful the first few times ( sometimes the first severl times ) give yourself some time to heal at least a few days and try again, try it with a water based lube like ky jelly or astroglide and it might be a little more comfortable. It'll get better with time... Can you believe teen girls are rushing into this? I always feel like they just don't get how much it can actually hurt and isn't fun at all when you first start

Use some SERIOUS lubrication, and try it with YOU on top. This way you can control depth and speed of penetration.

As for the bleeding, it sounds like maybe it was a tear in the hymen...it might not be so bad next time...Just be relaxed because being tense will make the muscles fight the penetration and it will hurt no matter what.

The first time you have sex, there is some tissue inside your vagina that when penetrated for the first time bleeds, it's called your Hyman. It should not bleed a lot now that you have had sex. People also use the term popping the cherry.

Yes that was your Hyman and you are no longer a virgin. It is perfectly normal. We all go through much the same thing the first time. You are lucky to have a husband who understands !!! Just relax next time !!! It gets better and better !!!
