She's a c cup and thin. For months she had back pain because she wasn't wearing proper bras. She hated, but I told her she'd have to wear bras with much support, full coverage, 4 hooks in the back. A dr conffirmed, so she's been wearing them for a months. But she hates them, said she wouldn't wear them, I had no choice other than sayy Sorry hun, but it's for your best. She's a very sweet teen and for the first time has ben giving me a hard time. She obeys but complains a lot, keeps asking me to let her other kind of bras. I told her again and again I love her and want her best, that's why I'm so strict. But she doesn't understand, says I'm being stubborn, most of her friends don't wear bras like that, they are hot, uncomfortable. But I know she needs them, can't back off Her bras are like this http://braexperience.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BE&Product_Code=94301&Category_Code=FFFF. I agree its not the kind of bra a 13 yo enjoys, but sure is the one she needs

When i was 13 I was a D and not even 100 lbs. I know what thats like but that kind of bra that you are having her put on is way to much for the size that you are talking about. Im at 36 F and 20 years old and again still skinney its very hard to find a bra that works right but those types of bras have only hurt my back more they take all the wait pull it up and strap it to my chest making it hard to breath and make my back hurt more. A C cup is not all that big I would take her to a Hanes store and just get a normal bra that is 3 hooks is not so hot and not strapping her in so much.

Teens are going to be hard headed at times, That is just how life is. However, you can imagine how embarrising it is to have you friend know that you wear a (grandma) bra. Maybe the two of you could buy some things and add some decoration to the bras, or possibly look online for some supportive bras with less coverage. I understand it is have and it could help if you bought her some sports bras to were over the smaller less supportive bras.

i'm a length 10 and a D cup. i would be sure the place you the two are coming from. it particularly is unlucky which you the two have an "previous female bra" common white, finished coverage, seventy 8 forged iron hooks contained in the decrease back, or a superb, amazing stylish bra (which could I upload dont are available in sizes above 36c). Its particularly complicated, yet I even have certainly been to Wal-mart and a few plus sizes shops bra buying and have discovered a pair with a large stability of the two, many of the time at a respectable cost. Take her out buying and discover some which you adult males can agree on =)

I am a C cup and thin also (well, I'm pregnant right now, but normally) and I'd NEVER wear this bra. While she does need a good, supportive bra that one is NOT her only option. It must look awful under a t-shirt, and frankly, I'd have a fit, too! I have a friend who is like 40DD (really) and she manages to find pretty bras that don't look pointy & strange under clothing.
There are plenty of full-coverage, good support bras in the lingere section of any good department store. I know you are looking out for her, but don't make her wear this hideous old lady bra for another day!

Take her to Victoria's Secret. They will measure her and help her find the proper bra for her needs. I know my girls are funny about what type of bra they wear, so if you help her find something appropriate that she likes, she'll wear it without griping.
In the meantime, no bra, no privileges. Remind her that big saggy breasts are NOT attractive. Being a C cup and going out without a bra is a good way to get some nasty remarks from the other kids. Tell you that upfront so she doesn't get her feelings hurt. (Kids can be horrid sometimes.)

Well there are other more attractive options out there. I have always been apart from the crowd (38F) and I agree she needs support but she also needs to feel pretty. Why not look at Fredrick's of Hollywood or Torrid for pretty and well fitting bras that way she will wear them without a fight and you will know she is supporting the breast correctly. Support can be pretty - let her get a few pretty bras too so she doesn't feel like and outcast. Good Luck!

There has to be some other choices that would work as well. I would say you guys need to go bra shopping together. Not just to Wal Mart but go to several stores and let her try some on and then pick a couple of different styles for her to try. Let her be involved in picking the one that not only is most supportive but that is comfortable for her. She could also maybe try a sports bra type thing.

well...i don't blame her for not wanting to wear those fugly things....they are horrible. I am a big chested person (DDD) and they make VERY supportive bras that are SOOOO much cuter and for about the same price and lots of times cheaper than what that one cost. Victoria's Secret has just about every imaginable type bra you can think of. They have bras that are very supportive and very cute. There are a variety of stores out there that offer that. If you daughter is that young and having to wear a C cup, she probably already has a low enough self esteem without having to wear something that looks like a maidenform.

Poor child. Maybe if you took her to get some bras that are a little more fashionable but with all the support she needs, she'd be more willing. Victoria's Secret has hundreds of bras, for all different needs, and they come in nice colors and designs. They can fit her properly so she'll be more comfortable.
