As everyone has mentioned so far, the likely cause is hormones.

Pregnancy introduces a whole bunch of new hormones and increases the amounts of others.

One of which, testosterone, which can increase hair growth, is increased when a woman is pregnant.

Yep very normal. Hormones just adjusting. I am 39 weeks pregnant and my tummy has a thin layer of dark hair just like my last pregnancy. It wont be there forever!

its completely normal.......and yes, it may make you feel like a freak show.....but its all part of pregnancy.....you'll notice a lot of other funky things go on as you reach further into your pregnancy........... Sometimes its the hormones and other times its the OVERLOAD of vitamin and minerals taken in with pre-natals or other vitamins when already on a healthy diet........It will al soon stop once you go further into your second then third trimester........Once you deliver, Its almost instantly all the funky changes go away.......In about 2 weeks you'll see serious differences and once the six weeks are up you should be back to normal.

Lots of strange thinks happen to our bodies during pregnancy. If the hairs are bothersome, pluck them after a shower.

Hormones during pregnancy sometimes go haywire. Maybe you have more androgen or testosterone in your system than usual.

I'd wax.
