I have headaches throughout the entire day, I feel sick to my stomache, and I feel so tired while I am at work sitting in front of the computer. This is my first pregnancy and I was just wondering if these symptoms last throughout the whole pregnancy or just the first couple of weeks?

I felt for the first 3 months that there wasn't enough money in the world to get me out of bed and go to work. I was miserable. It miraculously went away after about 13 weeks which i was forever grateful for. But I had headaches(probably coffee withdrawal), nausea like every minute, and just plain old exhausted. Good luck. You'll get through it with time. Just get plenty of rest. If you need a sick day take a sick day.

It is surging hormones causing all these issues. Some mothers report only experiencing these symptoms fleetingly while others report feeling this way the entire pregnancy. Acetomenaphin (tylenol) is safe during pregnancy, so that may help with the headache. If the nausea gets to be overly bothersome, your ob/gyn can prescribe phenegan which is also considered safe during pregnancy. For the nausea, I found that saltines and sprite calmed my stomach more readily than the medication though.

My first trimester was the WORST. I was in zombie mode, so tired and I had the worst morning sickness which caused me to lose wieght. I was hungry for REAL food but just couldn't keep it down. I'd often wonder 'What have I gotten myself into?' lol. It all started to fade after a couple months. After that... smooth sailing! I'm loving the pregnancy and I'm sure you will too.

It will get better. Your body is just trying to adjust to your new condition. Try to exercise as much as you can, and make sure you are eating a healthy diet. Stay away from the junk food as much as you can. It is not good for you or the baby. Eating a healthy diet will go a long way toward boosting your energy. Hang in there! It won't last forever.

After the first trimester, these symptoms should go away. Eat healthy, drink plenty of fluids, and try to take a walk to get a bit of light exercise and see how that helps.

They happen for the the first couple of months. Your body is preparing to carry a baby for nine months. Just relax and take it easy. This will be about the only time that you will have any rest once baby is born.

Just the first trimester. It'll be gone by three months or so. For me it was more like 15 weeks.

You can take a b6 vitamin, ask your OB, it helps ALOT.
