B B, your answer is relate to the basketball, not ever in baseball question.
Everybody, listen,
following my rules,
Anybody know that 2004 ALCS is correct answer about comeback from 0-3. As Yankees and Red Sox is longest rivalry in baseball.
Don't give the people who answers the question very negative or more thumb down. If u still turn down any answer. I would be very upset about that.
Anybody always know about this easy question.

I would have to say the Red Sox in the 1986 World Series against the Mets.
The Red Sox gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the 10th with "2" outs" in game 6 and lost 6-5.
The Red Sox led game 7 ( 3-0) after 5 inning and managed to blow that game as well 8-5. And it wasn't Bill Buckner's fault.

Probably the 86 World Series. Red Sox 1 strike from winning it all and they collapse.
Sorry, but that is worse than the Yankees blowing the ALCS.
Especially since the Sox had to leave the field and see all the bottles of Champagne and the World Series Trophy sitting there in their club house.

Yankees up 4-3 going into the bottom of the ninth. Greatest closer in the history of the post season, Mariano Rivera, pitching. Kevin Millar walks. Dave Roberts pinch runs and even though everyone in Fenway knew he would be trying to steal second, he still gets away with it. Bill Mueller ties it up with a single to center. Two innings later, Big Papi wins it for the Red Sox with a blast to the bullpen. The next day Big Papi unties an extra innings game with a single to center to score Johnny Damon. Game 6 had Bellhorn's disputed home run and A-Rod's interference with Arroyo's tag. Game 7 was all Sox. All Sox. Sweet.

Sox over the Yankees in 2004...Only team in baseball ever to come back from being down 3 games and even force a game 7 let alone win the series.

Seems like a loaded question with you just wanting to hear everyone saying 2004 Sox over Yankees. You also load the question by saying "move to next round" thereby not allowing anyone to use any World Series collapses (ie: 86' RED SOX).

Definately the 04 yanks, but if you want to equate the 78 season, and the playoffs starting prior to the post season as they drove themselves back from nowhere to take the only spot availible.
Bring back old school ball when it meant something to win the division.
