Probably not a lot different than if dems ran it. Until Republicans get back to being conservative Republicans, the dems will continue to win elections. With a lib, you expect lies, high taxes, welfare programs, a weak military, corruption, deviant sexual behavior, amnesty for illegal aliens, and outrageous spending. We expect more from Republicans, but haven't been getting it lately. It's been "lib-lite" with Chuck Haegel, Spectre, etc. and the rest of the rinos (rep in name only). Until voters demand a return to conservative republicanism, the libs and dems will remain in control. God help us.

We would fall on our foreign debts as we kept borrowing more. The homeless and impoverished in this country would grow in size and die in the streets because of cuts in social services. Inflation would run rampant. The rich would get richer. China will eventually pull their money from our investment firms and turn to the Euro, followed by countries in the middle east with large investments in the US. The US economy will hit hard times like that of the great depression.
And the Republicans would be voted out so that members of other parties could clean up their mess.

Hopefully you wouldn't see what's happening in Europe right now. They found out that unfettered immigration from third world countries just so Leftists can win elections...is a bad idea and now they are having to deport them. At the expense of terrorism in some places like France, I might add.

It would become a banana republic that benefits the wealthy elite and renders the middle class obsolete, banishing them to low-wage service jobs to serve the wants of the wealthy elite with foreign debt skyrocketing.

Well, if Bush hadn't been in office, I would have to say that if a republican ran the country for the next 20 years, things would be alright.
But, since Bush screwed up the middle-east so bad, it is hard to see us get out of this rut we're in.
If a democrat ran for office, I wouldn't vote for him/her. They spend way too much money on stupid government programs and up the taxes on everything.

Record high deficits. Record low dollar value. Exec salaries ever climbing while the min wage would remain unchanged. Every well paying job would either be outsourced or filled by aliens on Z -Visas. The US would become a larger version of Mississippi's economy. Enrons would crop up in every state and have a monopoly on energy and services. Roe v. Wade would be overturned. Intelligent Design would be taught in public schools.
