It does suck that a portion of OU fans can be boastful, but not all OU fans are that way. Also, they did not "run" the score up. Stoops put in 2nd, 3rd & 4th string players once they score got a lopsided. He also asked the officials to let the clock run after half-time, and they would not. I watched Sooner Vision last night and Stoops was regretful that the score was so lopsided.
Regardless, no matter what Stoops or OU does as a team, it seems to be wrong in the eyes of non-OU fans. If OU wins by a lot of points "they ran the score up" if it is a down to the wire game "man, they just aren't that good, they should have beat that team by more", etc.
I guess it is a loose-loose situation.
