I was wondering how far along you are when your belly first starts to show when being pregnant?

I am a size 4, and am 5'8 - so I was very slim prior to pregnancy. I thought that meant I would show right away, but I didn't start showing until about 26 or 27 weeks. So around month 6 and a half or so. Of course everyone is different. Being slim doesn't guarantee that she won't show until month 6. She could start showing earlier. Height also makes a huge difference. Shorter girls show quicker, because their torso's are shorter, and the bump has nowhere to go but out. Taller girls have long torso's, so the bump has more room up & down and it doesn't protrude as early. My height played a big role in me not showing until later. I would say to guarantee she isn't showing, to start trying 3 months beforehand. 3 months is a pretty safe number, as is 2 or 1, if she's less far along. The style of dress she wears also will make a difference. Something that is fitted around the belly will show even the smallest bump, while something that bells out from under the bust line will hide even a noticeable bump. The biggest thing I'd say is to keep in mind that 'showing' isn't the biggest worry with pregnancy. Morning sickness can hit some women very hard. I had it so badly I ended up in the hospital. I couldn't eat, or even leave the house until week 17. I could definitely not have had a wedding, I could barely walk around my house. You never know how hormones will effect a person - there's no way of knowing. I understand completely your desire to get pregnant. I went through 2 years TTC, with one loss before finally having a baby. I had to go on Clomid as well. But because of all the side effects of pregnancy, waiting until the wedding is over might not be a terrible idea. That of course is completely up to the two of you, and what you think your fiance can handle while pregnant. Good luck - I know how tolling fertility tests can be. I wish you both the best in TTC!

All women are different. It depends on your size and body type. I, for example, wear a size small and started to show after only 2 months. Many of my friends were visibly pregnant by 4 months.

It differs for every woman. There is no "magic" week or month when you suddenly look pregnant. I'm 17 weeks and most people still have no idea I'm pregnant. I just look like I gained some weight in my belly.

We have no single answer for this one as everybody, is different. The best and only answer I could give would be to contact a doctor and ask for his professional opinion, even at that it will be only his idea which may not be 100% accurate. Sounds like you need a best friend to help you through this. Good Luck. & God bless you.

depends on a lot of things; your height, weight, body structure. The usual time is around 4-5 months.

if its your first pregnancy ,you'll "start to show in 4-5 months but if its your subsequent pregnancy, by 3 months.

That depends on your size and the size of the baby.

Baby one, I was about five months.

Baby two, I was about three months.

So, it varies. All pregnancies are different, and all women are different.

good luck and congrats!

I looked like a hooker with a beer gut until I was well into my 6th month, it wasnt until then that people looked lower than my boobs to realize i was pregnant.
