please spell it the correct way - the others will make you look stupid and your child will constantly be having to tell people how to spell your version....

I'm sorry, but is Savannah really that popular that you have to come up with a "creative" spelling for it? If you name her "S'vana" it will still sound the same but she will have to put up with having to spell it out to everyone and fixing the inevitable misspellings that still happen.

Well Savannah is the proper way and the only way i've ever seen but I guess you could spell it Savanna or Savana.

What's wrong with spelling it the traditional way? The last thing you need is for your daughter to be angry at everyone because they keep mispelling her name, since you want her to have it spelled "uniquely". It's better to find a name that's unique, rather than a unique spelling.

Just a word of warning....we spelled our daughter's name Stefanie (Not too weird) and she had teachers tell her that she was spelling her name wrong -- only once, then they got a phone call from me!

I know someone who spells it with a double "V" but I think its too "cheap" looks like a "dancer's" name that way

My friend's daughter is Savana. It's a very pretty name, but it gets misspelled a lot.
