Funny story for you...I bled all thru my 2nd pregnancy. i had full periods up until I was 7 months old. Actually, I didn't know I was pregnant because of it. I am very fortunate that I don't drink, smoke or do drugs so my baby was perfect despite the bleeding throughout.
Bleeding is possible but be careful. bedrest is good for you. Just watch what you do and think about baby

When I was bleeding once, it turned out to be hemorrhoids. I didn't even really think I was constipated, but that was the problem.
Lots of ladies spot--just follow your dr.s recommendations. If it was a bad sign, the dr. would have told you. The only precaution you should take is to lay in bed watching TV comedies ALL DAY LONG. Keep happy, not worrying. It will change the whole scenario and make you feel tons better.

Some women bleed while pregnant, but generally they can tell from ultrasound why.
Whatever the cause is for you, apparently the fetus is healthy and the pregnancy is continuing.
Avoid stress, stay relaxed, and stay in bed. Do exactly what your doctor tells you. If you start bleeding more heavily, or start bleeding with pain, go to the ER and call your OB.

The best thing you can do is continue bed rest and follow all of your doctor's guidelines. If you are consistantly soaking pads, get yourself to an ER. If you are only lightly spotting, write down each time you notice it and be sure to bring the information with you to your next appointment. When you go to your next appointment, also ask about Progesterone suppositories and Baby Aspirin...each will reduce the risk of miscarriage. Keep yourself hydrated and lay on your left side. Good luck! :)
