I was watching it and when it happen I thought he did. Would have put money on it. I guess if you didn't see the tires lock up as he hit the brakes when he spun you would think that he didn't do it on purpose but you can and even though it happen so quick these drivers are professionals and they do have complete car control most of the time.
To ease off the breaks and ram the wall is not something that they would do unless there was a reason. To stop Franchitti.
Think about it.

I'm not a fan of Scott but I am a fan of Dario. Even so, I don't think this was done on purpose. I know that drivers' reactions are very fast but I doubt Scott would have know that by rolling back he would take out Dario. Scott was simply doing what most drivers do and taking the car off of the racing line. At this stage in the season, with the points so close, I think both drivers know that it would be stupid to do anything deliberately because the penalty would be too great.

Sure looked like it to me. Dixon had pretty much completely stopped his car and all of a sudden right when Franchitti is coming by his car speeds up right in to him. I think it was an extremely cheap move and shows a lack of sportsmanship. If IRL had any guts they would dock points from Dixon to send a message that those kinds of things are not acceptable.

It sure looked intentional, but Dario got the points lead back, so I call it all's fair in racing. Dixon messed up and paid for it.

No, they raced cleanly all year. I've never seen Scott race poorly on purpose. Dario does not even believe it was done intentionally!

Scott was annoyed with Dario, so he did that because at the time he was really angry about spinning out, but I don't think that he meant to cause as much damage as he did. Can't wait for Chicago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
