To make a comparison like this ridiculous. BB King has influenced thousands of musicians including Eric Clapton. Clapton is known for his blues Rock N Roll wear as BB is a solid Blues guitar player. BB is known for his unique blues licks and amazing voice wear as Clapton is known for his hard rocking blues rock guitar. Both share and complement each other. Clapton may be more technically proficient when it comes to guitar playing but BB is one of the first blues players who enabled guys like Clapton to be as good as they are.
